The 20th Annual Update in Liver and Gastrointestinal Disease aims to both educate and expand the knowledge of Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists and other healthcare professionals through the exchange of innovative research, ideas and information. This course will provide education through lectures, case discussion, audience question and answer, and hands-on experience with animal models and device simulators. The goal is to highlight best practice techniques across the broad spectrum of therapeutic and biliary endoscopy. Washington University Interventional Endoscopy Section faculty, as well as nationally known therapeutic endoscopists from peer institutions in North America, will serve as faculty with in-room commentary, lectures, hands-on session and facilitating discussion during and between lectures and case presentations.

Endobronchial ultrasound and transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) is the recommended first step for lung cancer staging. In this course, you’ll refine your skills in critical flexible bronchoscopy with a focus on EBUS-TBNA. Bronchoscopy experts will teach you essential skills for evaluating patients with suspected lung cancer. This course is recommended for pulmonary and critical care fellows and practicing pulmonologists who are growing their lung cancer practice and are looking to gain foundational skills in EBUS.
