FDR Visionary Suite is an innovative digital radiography solution designed to enhance the experience for both technologists and patients. It delivers impressive speed and repeatability for efficient, faster workflow, with automated positioning and optional, fully automated advanced applications. Fujifilm’s proprietary Irradiated Side Sampling (ISS) technology ensures high image sharpness and DQE with lightning-fast preview and cycle times.

FDR Visionary Suite offers a variety of features and automated functions that boost x-ray room productivity and efficiency:

  • SpeedLink™ automatically sets preferred, dose-saving techniques: collimation field size and more, to the selected exam.
  • Auto-positioning moves the x-ray tube and corresponding upright or table detector to the required exam position (can also be positioned manually)
  • Auto-collimation auto adjusts field size based on SID and exam type selected
  • Automatic x-ray tube tracking to manual movements of the table and upright detector

Ergonomic design for ease of use

  • Lightweight ceiling suspension and tube head system ensure smooth, easy positioning at any angle or height
  • Tube & Control Room Displays feature extra large touch screens for improved visibility, positioning guidance and ease of use
  • Intelligent Camera Assist offers a live view of the patient from control room, positioning guidance at the tube and optional motion detection
  • Tilting or Non-Tilting upright stand with motorized elevation
  • Large area tabletop and stroke with motorized elevation is easy to position and accommodates up to 649 lbs.

Technology

Cesium detectors provide sharp images with lower dose

Fujifilm’s CsI detectors take the inherently sharp imaging capabilities of CsI to the next level with Fujifilm’s patented ISS, which helps to produce higher DQE and MTF at lower doses by limiting the scatter of data within the detector capture circuitry.

Detector compatibility – The FDR Visionary Suite is compatible with FDR D-EVO III detectors, supporting Digital Dual-Energy Subtraction and Digital Tomosynthesis. The system is also compatible with the FDR D-EVO III G80i detector for single-exposure Long Length Imaging.

Dynamic Visualization™ for exceptional images

FDR Visionary Suite incorporates the robust FDX Console, driven by Fujifilm’s exceptional Dynamic Visualization. Dynamic Visualization image processing automatically recognizes the region of interest and applies the optimum image processing parameters throughout the entire exposure field, dynamically extending visibility, contrast, and window and leveling capabilities for more confident diagnosis.

Fast, easy, synchronized detector and tube movements capture multiple rapid exposures for one long length image.

  • Full length image capture in as little as 20 seconds
  • Length: up to 63” at upright and 47” supine on table

Fujifilm innovations bring these images to even higher diagnostic visibility with:

  • Motion correction: recognizes and compensates for minor patient movement between exposures
  • Gradation processing: adjusts for changes in density and contrast to display a seamless transition from one image to the next

FDR Visionary Suite’s 3D-enhanced digital tomosynthesis produces multiple tomographic slices from a single x-ray sweep. Through reconstruction of the cross-section areas of interest, tomosynthesis provides added image “depth,” removing overlying structures that may obscure pathology. Useful for a variety of clinical imaging, including chest and orthopedic imaging. Images can be displayed on a PACS workstation in a cine mode or frame-by-frame. Fujifilm’s intelligent post-processing allows reconstruction at different slice thicknesses, enhancing diagnostic visibility without additional exposures.

FDR Visionary Suite uses Dual Energy Subtraction (DES) enhances radiographic imaging by removing overlapping structures, such as soft tissue or bone, that can obscure pathology. By instantaneously capturing two images at different X-ray energy levels and applying subtraction processing, DES produces three views: traditional, bone-only, and soft tissue-only.

Fujifilm’s advanced DES processing improves diagnostic visibility with:

  1. Multi-Stage Registration (MSR) – intelligently corrects for patient motion, such as breathing and heartbeat artifacts.
  2. Patient Thickness Compensation – optimizes clarity of the entire image automatically compensating for varying densities, and for over and underexposed regions.
  3. Advanced Noise Reduction – Suppresses noise at multiple frequencies while preserving sharpness.

FDR Visionary Suite’s DES delivers enhanced diagnostic detail, making it an innovative new standard of care for routine chest exams and offering an effective follow-up tool potentially reducing the  need for dose-intensive and higher cost imaging like CT.
