Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) scopes

Fujifilm EB-710US balloon-less endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) scope with 180o up angulation.

EB-710US

Balloon-less EBUS scope

As a trusted partner to pulmonologists, Fujifilm is committed to bringing innovative, practical solutions to the US market.

The EB-710US reflects this commitment.

The EB-710US ultrasound bronchoscope is a balloon-less EBUS scope designed to reduce costs, shorten preparation time, and eliminate balloon-related infection risks.

With its 180o acute angulation, thin diameter, and novel balloon-less design, the EB-710US facilitates navigation of challenging bronchial angles, and complex subsegment branching to reach targets in peripheral regions typically not accessible with an EBUS scope.1 In published reports, physicians document successfully accessing challenging mediastinal and peripheral targets without a balloon.1-3

The Fujifilm EB-710US delivers

  • a 2.2mm working channel, allowing for smooth device passage and reliable sampling performance
  • a wide 120° field of view to improve visibility during procedures
  • a 10° forward-facing view that supports ergonomics and is like a conventional bronchoscope
  • a slim 6.4mm distal end and 5.9mm insertion tube
  • enhanced angulation capability — 180° up and 90° down — to improve maneuverability and reach
  • a shortened transducer to help improve mucosal contact and optimize ultrasound performance during procedures
  • CMOS imaging for brilliant image transmission with less noise

Balloon-less advantage

  • Eliminates balloon-related infection risks
  • No adverse events related to ultrasound balloon

  • Balloon-less technology eliminates air bubbles, which can often occur, to help ensure a clear image
  • Compatible with EOG and STERRAD sterilization

Versatile and user friendly

  • Short and thin distal end aids insertion3
  • 2.2mm working channel fits 19G to 25G needles

Continuous, unobstructed view

Positioning of the objective lens, CMOS image sensor, and instrument channel provide continuous, unobstructed view of the needle to help ensure accurate puncture alignment.

10o forward-facing view

With the 10° forward-facing view, the vocal cords and glottis are clearly visualized. Entry into the trachea requires no special maneuvering, as the Fujifilm EB-710US advances like a standard bronchoscope.

EB-530US

Convex EBUS scope

Designed for precise diagnosis and staging in pulmonary procedures, the EB-530US offers reliable control and maneuverability. With enhanced distal angulation and a slim design, this bronchoscope represents innovation you can count on for a range of procedures.

Like the EB-710US, the EB-530US offers an intuitive 10o forward-facing view, 120o wide viewing angle, and ample flexion, allowing it to substitute for a conventional bronchoscope for airway inspection prior to EBUS.4

As noted in the Journal of Thoracic Disease:

“It [EB-530US] obviates the need for airway inspection using a conventional bronchoscopy and is associated with decreased procedure times/procedural costs.”4

EB-530US highlights:

  • Optimized needle guide facilitates precise puncture action
  • With the 10° forward-facing view, the EB-530US advances similarly to a standard bronchoscope4
  • High-resolution Super CCD imaging

Like the EB-710US, the EB-530US offers a continuous unobstructed view of the needle to help ensure accurate puncture alignment.

EB-530US supports a balloon option for advanced stability.
