September 12

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is one of the most challenging diseases encountered in cardiology practice because of the diversity of its expression and its unpredictable clinical course. The lecturers at this course are national and international thought leaders in the realm of HCM care. They will discuss the latest advances in medical, surgical and interventional care of patients with HCM, including advances in cardiac imaging, approaches to treat heart failure symptoms from obstructive and non-obstructive HCM, novel strategies in medical and surgical treatment of outflow obstruction, assessment and treatment of sudden cardiac death risk, approaches to manage atrial fibrillation and new therapies on the horizon.
