The Endoluminal Conference is a non-CME course created to introduce its participants to new organ sparing techniques in Endoscopic Dissection and Endoscopic Resection of the Upper and Lower GI tract in Endoluminal Surgery. This course includes 8 hours hands-on lab. The hands-on course will cover tissue resection and closure techniques specific to Endoscopic Dissection and Endoscopic Resection. We will also discuss pre-evaluation of patient records, follow-up care, pathological assessment, and proper billing in the course.

A premier, CME-accredited educational forum designed to address critical clinical, technical, and operational practice gaps in metabolic and bariatric surgery. Guided by the 2026–2027 ASMBS presidential theme, "Elevating Our Future, Enhancing Our Specialty," established by President Dr. C. Joe Northup, the program's primary goal is to standardize evidencebased surgical techniques and multidisciplinary care pathways to optimize patient safety and long-term bariatric outcomes. To achieve this, the conference delivers intensive, live, inperson scientific lectures across three parallel content tracks and hosts the core modules of the ASMBS Leadership Academy—a dedicated practice-readiness curriculum for earlycareer bariatric fellows.

Therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy continues to evolve rapidly, with expanding tools and techniques available to manage bleeding, resect complex lesions, and treat defects. While these advances have improved the ability of general gastroenterologists to deliver minimally invasive care, they have also introduced significant variability in knowledge, technical proficiency, and clinical decision-making across practice settings.

Many practicing gastroenterologists lack opportunities for structured, simulation-based training with new devices and techniques. This endoscopy reboot is designed to close gaps through an integrated learning experience combining practical didactic updates with one-on-one faculty guided hands-on instructions on devices and techniques using dry models, explant, and simulators.

Course participants will advance through a stepwise sequence reinforcing device selection, decision making, and hands-on skills across the three therapeutic domains of Hemostasis, Endoscopic Mucosal Resection, and Defect Closure.

The primary goal of the course is to provide a comprehensive, individualized hands-on workshop on current and emerging techniques in third space endoscopy, endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), per-oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), gastric per-oral endoscopic myotomy (G-POEM), submucosal tunneling resection, and more. The course will have two different agendas: one tailored for beginners and one for those with prior exposure and clinical experience in third space endoscopy (advanced). The hands-on sessions will be taught by experience world-renowned experts in the field. The low faculty to participant ratio will ensure a one-of-a kind immersive workshop.

Using cadavers and hands-on simulations, you’ll be exposed to ultrasound-guided pleural interventions with instruction from bronchoscopy experts. Learn a step-by-step approach to ultrasound-guided thoracentesis, tunneled indwelling pleural catheter placement, and more.
