A non-CME course created to introduce its participants to new organ sparing techniques in Endoscopic Dissection and Endoscopic Resection of the Upper and Lower GI tract in Endoluminal Surgery. This course includes 8 hours of hands-on lab covering tissue resection and closure techniques specific to Endoscopic Dissection and Endoscopic Resection. Discussions include pre-evaluation of patient records, follow-up care, pathological assessment, and proper billing.

Apply updated diagnostic and therapeutic algorithms for dysphagia, gut-brain interaction disorders, and hereditary colon polyposis syndromes to improve individualized patient care. Integrate advanced endoscopic tools and techniques—such as EMR, EUS, POEM, and endoscopic suturing—into routine practice for managing complex GI conditions. Evaluate current strategies for managing inflammatory bowel diseases and adapt treatment plans based on the latest evidence and disease-specific considerations. Develop effective management plans for patients with cirrhosis and metabolic liver disease, including referral timing and selection criteria for liver transplantation. Implement best practices for managing upper GI bleeding and preventing post-ERCP pancreatitis, incorporating new technologies and procedural innovations. Assess the role of artificial intelligence and recent innovations in endoscopy to anticipate future shifts in diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
